About Cryo Cure Freeze Dried Cannabis Machines
Cryo Cure revolutionizes the cannabis drying and curing process, influencing every step of the cannabis pipeline along the way.
Cryo Cure’s patented technology and methodology skips the hanging phase of drying, where human error, equipment failure, or any other pitfall can spoil a valuable harvest. The system dries and cures cannabis in as little as 13 hours, drastically cutting processing time from weeks to days. The resulting product is light and aromatic, with trichomes and terpenes intact and flavor profile preserved as if at the height of freshness.
The consumption experience is elevating and euphoric, because the Cryo Cure process stabilizes compounds and prevents degradation into delta-9 THC and CBN, the cannabinoids which cause the “couch lock” effect.
The Cryo Cure Origin Story
Cryo Cure found inspiration in the pages of Ed Rosenthal’s The Marijuana Grower’s Handbook. In search of a way to preserve the flower’s beauty when harvested, Cryo Cure CEO Tracee McAfee and President Greg Baughman found a passing reference to freeze drying in Ed’s master guide. However, simple freeze drying cannabis was far from ideal: The result was often brittle, hard to handle, and not as potent as its traditionally dried and cured counterpart.
Inspired by the challenge, Greg, a registered cannabis caregiver in Michigan, sought out to solve the freeze drying conundrum. Which aspects of the process can be kept to retain the flower’s vibrant color and impressive size, while retaining its structural integrity? After years of research and trial and error, Greg developed the perfect balance of time, temperature, pressure that preserves all the valuable components of cannabis that enrich the consumption experience.
Today, Cryo Cure clients across the U.S. and the world benefit from the recipes Greg developed. The patented process is now in use in many states, as well as in countries on multiple continents.

How does Cryo Cure work?
Using the right combination of time, temperature, and pressure, Cryo Cure machines dial in the right moisture content without completely eliminating water from the flower.
